Bike with cooler on hitch
Fifth bike was a Honda Shadow Spirit 1100. When I purchased it, I thought that it would be my bike for life. I named her RC, short for Rocking Chair. After I did a trip to Texas I learned that she was not a rocking chair. Don't get me wrong, she was a great bike. Just not really made for the long haul. The main fault with the bike was the tank was too small. Had to gas up every 125 miles.
Sixth and current bike is a '07 Yamaha Royal Star Midnight Venture. Now this is truely a rocking chair. As of April 07 my longest trip has been to NC, only about 550 miles, one way. Gas milage on the road is 46, with a range of 180 to 185 miles.
